Call in on way home and had a lovely meal and pint. We sat in bar area and to say the seats were a bit tatty is an understatement. The staff were pleasant and very helpful but the barman could do with a personality transplant, he never smiled and it seamed like it was as if I must serve you I will. Could do with upgrading in bar area, next time will eat in restaurant area.

The food was OK. Had better and worse. Had the steak which came with around 10 chips!! Steaks are reasonably priced but the additional sides to make it a decent meal aren't. The rest of the menu is quite pricey in my opinion too. Had a discount voucher but wouldn't return without one!!

The food was good but my plate was quite wet when it arrived which put me off. Despite that the food was nice but they had no avocado and my 'skin on fries' were just bog standard frozen french fries. Pudding was nice.

The best beefeater by far!! If this beef eater isn't the flagship then it should be. I've been here several times and never found fault yet. The food and staff are second to none! You gotta eat here!!!
