I don't usually leave reviews but in this case I felt I had to. I put my car in for an MOT one month ahead of time and it failed. I booked the car in for a week later for a one day job, and was assured all parts were available and ready to go. Two days later I was informed that I needed a part from Germany, which I knew was incorrect as Mercedes had told me the part I required. Subsequently I had to liaise with the mechanic to verify this. Once the correct part was ordered and received, I was told that they were very busy and were unable to carry out the work in the immediate future. Two weeks later I picked up the car, and found the tailgate to be defective. Agreed that I would buy the part and garage would fit it for free, as the car was under their care when it became defective. 3 days later, I ordered the part myself and took it to the garage. Part was fitted and I was presented with a substantial bill for fitting it, including £10 plus vat for consumables on a tailgate latch. Wouldn't recommend this garage.

Pleasant but quote never materialised. I really would like to have used this local firm unfortunately I'm still waiting despite calling in and ringing on at least 4 occasions
