Little Hands

The Little Hands philosophy is simple - Learning through Play - a philosophy strongly supported by Early Years research; but, for Learning Through Play to be effective in a nursery setting; the child needs the same level of individual support and understanding that parents provide at home.

At Little hands we achieve this by having a committed child centred approach applied to every aspect of the care and education of the children by using:

Our strength is using our high staff to child ratio to develop each child’s social and language skills and to tailor the child’s learning around their interests. Our high staff ratio also gives staff more time to spend with parents sharing information and answering questions.

Our greatest strength is that the services we provide are tailor made to the needs of each individual child and their family. We ask then that you use the information given in the download section of the website as a reference point and visit the Nursery or speak with Nursery staff about your child and your individual needs before booking sessions

Little Hands is registered and inspected by Ofsted and our Nurseries have been judged as being either “Outstanding” or “Good” at their most recent inspections.

We have also participated in and achieved a variety of accreditation and quality scheme awards.

All Little hands Nursery Schools accept children from two years of age and we also have dedicated baby rooms at Little Hands – Melbourn and Little Hands – Linton & Bartlow.

We accept both 2 year old and 3 / 4 year old funding.
