Gigspanner.co.uk is a limited company founded in 2012. It is made up of two music oriented ventures. Firstly there is Lexana Publishing. Lexana publishing supplies original and creative music resources for individuals, schools and educators. Visit the online shop Lexana.uk to search for music and listen to demos. And secondly we have music tuition by AL Hodgson. Lessons are available on Flute, Saxophone, Piano, Music Theory and Music Technology. AL began his musical career at Lichfield Catherdral as a Chorister and then moved on to Shrewsbury School as the top music scholar. He then spent 5 years studying music at Reading University before working as a freelance musician for 10 years. During that time he played on TV, Radio, Cruise Ships, National Theatre Tours, Pantomimes, album recordings, musical direction and freelance teaching in schools. 1998 saw a change of direction as AL started a new career as a Director of Music in education. Since then he had been Director of Music at Danes Hill School in Oxshott, Parsons Mead School in Ashstead, Barrow Hills School in Witley, St George's Junior School in Weybridge, Notre Dame School in Cobham and a class music teacher at St George's College in Weybridge. AL plays flute, saxophone, electric bass and piano as well as being an expert in Sibelius and Cubase software. He is also an advanced PC user and builds/maintains his own websites.
