Lyn and Ian would like to welcome you to Lawson Cottage Bed & Breakfast in the popular village on Hickling on the beautiful Norfolk Broads.
All rooms have en- suite or private bathrooms . We offer locally sourced produce for our hearty breakfast.
We are a short stroll to Hickling broad, the largest of the broads, and a fine country inn offering very good food.
Our rates are:
– Boat House twin room £95 per night inc. breakfast.
– The Mooring king double £100 per night inc. breakfast.
– 2 x Double en-suite in main house £95 per night inc. breakfast.
– Family suite £150 per night inc. breakfast.
(All rooms are a minimum 2 nights booking at weekends).
We offer off road parking and the use of our private garden, check- in from 4pm, vacate by 10.30 on day of departure .
There is a local taxi service in the village offering very reasonable rates.

Lyn & Ian are 2 fantastic hosts, the food was excellent Overall Lawson Cottage provided us with A Fantastic Base for what will be Truly Memorable for us. Joan Bowe5 StarStayed here for three nights with my son & daughter-in-law plus a grandson for two nights. Lyn & Ian couldn't do enough for us! We were there for a wedding in Waxham Barn. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the breakfasts divine with a great choice. Lovely garden to relax in as well! 11 out of 10 for this lovely venue!Monday 15th August 2022
Susie Norman5 StarExceptional B&B! Forget what you thought B&Bs were all about - this is as good, if not better, than some of the 5* ‘destination’ hotels in the area. I’m very fussy and I really can’t fault this - spacious, fastidiously clean, attention to detail - everything you need really! Added to that, Ian and Lyn are super-friendly but respect your privacy.
