We went during a busy summer break from school. There is a main area with 3 separate swimming pools for children. There is also a lane swimming pool that we didn't use. The main pool has a fun water wave machine and water fountains but is not a deep pool and the water was cold. We enjoyed the pool shaped like a donut with water jets that push you in one direction. We spent most of our time here. There are slides too but queue was too long. I spent an hour in the pool with my 2 children. Changing rooms are clean. Staff helpful - thanks to.the lady that gave my son an eye wash kit. We enjoyed getting hot food at the end but speed of service could be better. Great little surf shop near to the entrance too and free parking. Possibly would rate 4 stars on a less busy day.

Took our children swimming during the summer holidays, we were so pleased to see friendly faces on reception who said of course they had spaces for a family swim. They do a 90 min system and if it’s busy it’s a 1 in 1 out. The changing rooms were clean, the pools were tidy and clean and lots of lifeguards around

Good pool for little people clean changing areas. Had a half hour wait but that was just because it was busy. It would have been a 5star apart from one pool attendant getting shirty about my 3 year old using a float that was left on the poolside of the kids pool!

The leisure pool area is great for families, with a wave pool, training pool, slides, a jacuzzi, toddler area, and a rapids ride. The place could do with a few more family changing rooms and looks a little dated in places but it's great value and my kids love it.

I have just altered my rating to *5; due to my previous mistake. The leisure centre were unaware that my family had experienced a personal issue as I had been taken unwell in the pool. It was dealt with by family, but staff were quickly on hand to assist additionally. I was offered some water and anything else I may have needed by a male member of staff by the rapids entrance(my apologies no name). I noticed that there was a staff presence in all areas and this isn't as noticeable at other pools. Thank you for keeping me safe. I think that both children and adults are observed well here. We had food in the café which was lovely and would certainly return.
