Lakeside Garage was established in 1984 by the current owner Pete Blackwell, on the site of his father's timber yard. The garage may have been around for the last thirty one years, but it is a constantly evolving, modern, forward thinking business.
We are a well established `local` garage with all the necessary high-tec equipment that is needed to keep modern cars running smoothly, including hybrid and electric vehicles. However, we have the experience to work on almost any car, new or old.

TOP TEN1 StarMy air conditioning was faulty, pulled in to see if anyone was available to have a look at it and was greeted by some miserable guy who didn’t even want to speak. Went in to reception and the man in there clearly wasn’t interested and didn’t want to work. In the end I just left and went to a nearby garage where they were more than happy to help and got my a/c working again.
The entire place was a mess. If you don’t want to work just shut the place down.Wednesday 14th July 2021

Matt Sharples1 StarHas to replace my starter motor; got recovered here. Brought a starter motor for my car to the garage and asked them to fit it. They weren’t happy at all, made it difficult to ask them to use my starter motor. Whatever...
But, to be childish and turn off my traction control, reset my mileage and change the time? I think I’ll skip this garage and would recommend anyone else do the same.Thursday 21st June 2018
