In this day in time and with all the information that we have about climate change and the impact of what we buy on our environment, you would expect that businesses would try to make some efforts to make their products more sustainable. Or at least pretend. Just for marketing purposes, of course. I was outraged to see this weekend, when the Laila Celebration range was brought into my house by some guests, that NOTHING is recyclable in this range of products. Not even the cardboard boxes as they are coated in shiny plastic. Obviously, there is NO information about the disposal of the products. Just to have a few snacks we ended with a pile of un-recyclable, un-reusable packaging. I could not enjoy these snacks. They had a test of destruction. To be honest, they weren't tasty either, compared to the real thing. It is not the first time I have written to this company. Years ago I bought Laila rice because it stated in the packaging that it was "100 recyclable". I wrote to them a couple of times to ask how I should recycle it. But of course, I got completely ignored. Needless to say that I never bought any of their products again. Unfortunately, this brand made it's way to my home again, to see that years later, nothing has been done, on the contrary, things have got worse. Never come across such a bad business experience in my six years in retailing business. To cut the long story short, order has been placed paid in full on 28 of August 2017 never received. Problem was promised to be resolved twice during this time with nothing happening. To end up with the sales person ignoring my call untill finally delivering a msg from the companies receptionist asking me to send an email to the sales person asking in it for a refund, which didnt hit my accounts until now, nor even receiving a reply.

Ordered Saturday 25th received an email confirmation on website they say 48 hr Delivery which ment to be delivered tue I called up on tue they had no idea where my order was even I spent 503 £ I was put off by their staff behavior passing me to one another for 5 hrs then I was humiliated and on Wednesday I called to cancel my order and get my money back no one was really ready to do it and I was told it would take 10 working days but their was a kind person who said he would get it Delivered on Friday between 9-1 that is only opinion as my money was stuck I accepted because our opening hrs were 16:00 every Friday I managed to get to Shop at 11 after I called 9 for a ata on my order it was said it would be 12-1 so I arrived 12 waiting until 13:30 no signal called logistics of your company they took 10 min and called back and said it would be after 4 so I had to leave for an appointment driver comes at 3:30 while raining some of our preparations team arrive at 3 so the drive parks on other side of the road and ask for 50 £ cash to drop it inside Delivery should be outside the shop not on the other side of the rd driver speaks to me very rudely and demanded money or taking cash from staff starts arguing and says I’ll wait 5 min outside if u don’t take the order ill leave Driver leaves abusing my staff and we are trying to report the accident to police the company refuses to give details and holds our money Please don’t order anything this might be a cheap company but they are cheap in all manners compliants teams is not taking my complaint saying it’s not their job their job starts with product issues not Delivery Today I have been given time till 11 again to see where my order is as it’s despaired from their systems Stolen my money I guess They are called fraudisters
