Very pleasant stay for 1 night. Room was relatively small, but very clean with a comfy, large double bed. Checking in was a nice and easy process. Can’t say enough about how lovely the staff are, always polite and smiling. Very welcoming. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Standard pub food, but all tasted very nice. Only downside is the communal areas within the hotel are in need of a good refurbishment, however the manager was very open about this, and stated they are due to be refurbed soon.

Last day of our holiday and decided to have Sunday Roast here and was so lovely! Matt made us feel very welcome and offered us a window seat so we could watch the boats go by! The food well what can I say. BEST ROAST WE HAD IN A LONG TIME! Fast service and very friendly! We are already looking forward to visiting again in September for our anniversary! Thanks again gave us something to look forward to Gary & Kelly xxx

I want to give you an honest review. We came down to the Norfolk Broads for the first time for a family wedding. When we arrived we asked if they would have the football on as we are Sunderland fans and were told yes, absolutely no problem and they even reserved us a table. Great result.....we won. The hotel itself needs refurbishment. Rips on the stair carpet, cracked shower tray and sink. Mould. Cracked woodwork around the windows, lots of ripped upholstery on chairs. The wedding day couldn't have gone any better. After the wedding we came back to the pub and had a couple of drinks. We then did a boat tour of the broads and then back to the pub. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because every single member of the staff were amazing, friendly and a credit to your company. Green King you seriously need to spend some money on renovation. Fantastic venue, gorgeous area and brilliant staff!

Had a lovely time at the pub and would definitely be back. Very helpful staff and lovely food. Was a bit apprehensive having seen the reviews but it did not disappoint. We had gammon steak and lamb shank which were very good. There's a lovely view of the pond (?) with loads of swans which you can feed paying a quid into the charity box. Some fancy pigeons too which are very friendly and eat from your hand! Can't recommend enough

Great pub with friendly staff. Great river views and dog friendly as well. Good value meals and reasonably priced drinks, especially the double up deal on spirits. Well worth a visit.
