The ladies who run the place were kind and accommodating but the room itself was less than wonderful.

Quiet, comfortable and clean, a good breakfast choice and friendly welcome. Ideally situated a short walk from the town of Abingdon with a good choice of shops and restaurants. A 10 minute drive to the park and ride for Oxford.

Skid marks and residue in the toilet on arrival (not ours). Heating not working, very prompt at bringing an electric radiator, which was great but did nothing to heat the bathroom, never heard what happened to the promised plumber. What looked promising accomodation was disappointing as the bath was very slow to fill.

Quiet location and well equipped lodges. The hosts are very helpful, offering advice and very generous with breakfast next morning. Well placed for anyone walking the Thames Path or doing watersports on the river.

Quiet, reasonably priced and just a short walk from town. Breakfast was fine but the room was on the firey side of toasty for me and was uncomfortably hot at times....
