Beth Wicker4 StarLovely stay! The proprietress is warm and friendly and very helpful. Loved everything on the main floor, with only a few steps to reach anything, and good handholds where needed. The house is a Chartist house, so wonderful history. The grounds are lovely, with several places to sit outside to have your tea (thoughtfully provided on a tray in your room) and watch the many birds and flowers. A river/creek runs behind the house, with a pasture holding two distinguished elderly ponies - one 40 and one 28! Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety, cooked to order.
