JRB converted our garage into a downstairs lounge. We are delighted with the finished product and the standard of work. Overall we love their build work, carpentry and painting and decorating. I highly recommend them. Especially since there were a couple of really tricky parts to this build, including a set of book cases and a tv and sound bar, all of which had to be sunk into the wall. The guys handled them with no problems and managed to finish them to a really high standard and were even able to deal with a few last minute changes. Lockdown hit right in the middle of our build which delayed completion, but after a few weeks the guys were back in to finish the job. They were really great with social distancing which was a blessing as we were expecting our first child.

James and his team helped us remodel the interior of our property. Throughout the whole project they were great communicators - always available and immediately responsive if there was any aspect of the job that required immediate attention. Polite and enthusiastic in ensuring all aspects of the job were discussed at each stage. The job ended up being bigger than we anticipated and they ended up doing a lot of exterior work as well - patio and driveway included, and working in tandem with UK Power Networks and doing all the growing works for a meeting electricity supply (at very short notice). They literally dropped everything that day to ensure trenches were done to exact specifications and all work (inside and out) was done to a high standard. James liaised with other tradesmen (plumber/electrician etc) and kept our job moving along at a pace we were happy with. I would recommend him to anyone needing building works or exterior grounds works.

I first contacted James on recommendation from Ollie who painted and decorated for us. During winter months and rainy days we would end up with a mud pit next to our home so needed slabs put down. James and his team were responsive, friendly and helpful throughout, consistently applying their knowledge and expertise and discussing with us before any decisions were made. James was helpful knowing what the budget was and even offered to come back and finish off other parts as the day they completed it had rained. We also needed to get some more stones. The work was done in December and having now gone through the cold months the patio still looks great! We look forward to welcoming them back. Beware though, you will be privy to some ‘Landscaping Karaoke’. My dog only reacted to one individual’s lack of talent... think it was Steve... Thanks guys! Bianca

JRB Builds have just completed extensive work on our house from fencing the entire garden to levelling the back garden and a host of other jobs. The quality of the work was second-to-none. Nothing was too much of a problem for James and his team. From the beginning, James kept us up to speed on developments, he was on time, on budget and always punctual. I have no hesitation in recommending James and his team. A job well done - thank you James
