Very poor and rude from the start telling me I ‘had to get the van in for repair or they will hand back to Insurance company’ even though I’m self employed and wasn’t possible as cant drop everything as I’ve work and have kids and courtesy van was only 3 seats..so have to wait couple of weeks…van is very well looked after but in accident damage to bumper/‘wing creased which they missed in the inspection’ I noticed it after and apparently they said it’s my job to spend another 2hrs ringing my insurance company again to tell them what they missed…and power steering damage made noises after accident but then they repaired it without sorting power steering saying at first they drove it and no problems with it then changing it to wasn’t done in accident and then admitting it saying it made noises! Yes another body shop said it is related to accident..very poor communication throughout and didn’t ring me back when I complained…when I renew my van it won’t be coming from John gross!! And will 100% will tell all I know about the poor service and on business Facebook page I actually look after my customers John gross!!!!..please don’t reply with your standard blah blah reply to this saying you’ll do better please maybe spend your time trying to make your staff more professional maybe 👍I will be taking further to ombudsman I suggest anyone with issue's does the same

Just had the most amazing experience at John Grose. Returned with my daughter’s car following an insurance claim repair they had completed. Post repair water had got inside the car and flooded footwells - they were happy for me to bring in for them to have a look. The leak is not as a result of the work they had carried out, but Gold Windscreens happened to be on site at the time and two of their team came and looked all over the car to see if they could suggest what the problem might be. A couple of really helpful suggestions given to me, along with the phone number of a spare parts company. I can’t overstate how appreciative I am of your time and wanting to help - in a day and age when you go to some shops to return goods and the staff can’t even be bothered to look up from the till, your customer service is first class! Thank you 👌

Customer Services - disappointing. They didn't contact me after I submitted an enquiry form, so I had to chase them. Then I had to pay for a quote, which took all of 1 minute for the inspection. Then I had to chase the quote which I hadn't received 10 days later. I said on the phone that I wasn't very impressed and just got huffed at. Will take all of this into account when deciding which quote to go with (the other two I have been for inspections for have both been free!).

Customer service wise, very helpful to speak to and were helpful answering questions and getting my car booked in for repair. Great courtesy car so staff at the front were really helpful cannot fault. However 2 issues/ things didn't work with my car when I picked it up.... Documents say "passed final quality control examination" ....clearly not. They pretty much fixed the problem (not fully my husband had to make good when I got home). Would not use again as can't say 100% they check the car thoroughly after work is complete.

Can not speak highly enough of this repair centre. Did a fantastic job on the repair and valeted my car but also went above and beyond when I realised I'd left my purse in the now returned courtesy car! Staff were very friendly, helpful, kept me up to date at all times. Garage allocated by my insurance but would happily use again through choice.
