Lovely little tea room, with good music playing and lovely staff. Food was amazing, I ordered a cod and chips and my partner ordered ham egg and chips. We both loved it! There was also a good atmosphere and great interesting decorations all in all 5 stars

This place is lovely, cosy and delicious - the best tasting hot chocolate I’ve had this winter! Very nicely themed with 1940s music and souvenirs. The staff were very friendly too!

Lovely 1940s style tearoom with lots of brilliant little touches, even in the toilet. Fantastic. We had the shared ploughman's for lunch and tea and cake for afters, couldn't fault any of it, it was delicious!! Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

Really great place to eat. They're really following the Covid rules too - to a tee. While I was there they did have to turn people away due to proper social distancing - and they did. Staff really polite too. Really put customers first and inspire confidence. Food was great too as was the atmosphere! A must visit if you're visiting the village!

I'm sorry to say that whilst there was a good effort with the atmosphere of the cafe, we were not impressed at all with the food. Just the look of the insides of my husband's sandwich turned my stomach (it was the bacon, brie and cranberry sauce one) and completed put me off my fish finger sandwich, which was not very substantial and came with a poor excuse for a salad. My husband did his best with his, but sadly didn't manage to finish his either. I don't usually write bad reviews but it was, in my opinion, not worth the £16-17 we paid. The drinks were fine though!! It was a return to 1940's style food.
