A great way for your dog to be cared for on a day-to-day basis in the safety of an I Pet Sit carer. Your dog spends the day active and happy with plenty of mental stimulation through play, exercise, and the company of other furry friends (the I Pet Sit pack).

But this is not your average doggy day care. We make it our primary duty to know everything about every pet in our care. We know that for age, breed, temperament, health and fitness, each dog is unique. This allows us to plan a personalised, structured programme, giving your dog the attention and range of events to suit their particular needs.

Before any dog joins our happy family pack of dogs, socialisation is a must to understand your dog’s temprement and needs. We support you in any training you’re undergoing with your dog and believe in training through kindness, patience and a deep understanding of dog behavior.

Being around other dogs, dealing with feeling frightened or anxious, learning to sit, stay, fetch – whatever your dog’s training needs, we can help.

Contrary to popular belief, it’s never too late to learn new tricks.

Is your dog carrying a little more than puppy fat? Is your pet the canine hoover in your home? Do you or your family find it hard to resist those pleading eyes?

An overweight dog starts to loose quality of life, they slow down and joints start to take the strain. In extreme cases the dog’s life can be shortened by many years. Our Weight Management Programme is dedicated to getting your dog back to rude health:

  • Initial consultation is 1.5 hours.

  • Weight is recorded and, in line with specific needs and the individual dog’s history, a target weight is agreed.

  • Each dog must be checked by their vet before starting the programme.

  • Dogs are required to stay as a boarder for at least three/four weeks depending on the weight and health of your dog.

This can be used at any time by our clients, providing we are familiar with your dog. Just call our out of hours number and we’ll accept your furry friend into our care, whatever the time. However this service is only available if your dog has spent more than a week in our care and attends at least once a week for doggy day care.

If your dog is recovering from an operation or has been ill (though not a contagious condition) or needs extra special care due to age, we provide extra cover throughout their recuperation while with us.

We are happy to discuss the level of care you require at our meet and greet appointment.

Ipetsit have been amazing. From the moment we met Karen we knew that she was the right person to look after our boy and they haven't once let us down. Baxter our 14 month old Labrador has been going now four days a week, for three months and the transformation in him has been truly brilliant and heartwarming. He was so shy when I first took him and it was hard to leave him, but Karen is so reassuring and professional. I could tell she knew what she was doing 100% and that made everything so much easier for me and within a matter of days maybe a week he was truly loving it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ipetsit. The peace of mind I have when Baxter is with them is worth every penny.

We have been using i pet sit for our mini schnauzer Murphy since he was a puppy when we first moved to Salisbury 18 months ago and have never looked back since! Murphy absolutely loves spending time with the i pet sit pack and I think he would probably spend all of his time there if he could! He has built a lovely bond with Karen and it has become a home from home for him, which is so important to us, especially as he has quite bad separation anxiety. When I drop him off for the day he can't get through the door quick enough to meet the other dogs and I can always tell he's had a good day from the lovely updates and pictures I receive, as well as having a very happy dog when I collect him! I pet sit have always been really accommodating and have helped me out many a times at the last minute when I've needed doggy day care, especially when I went into hospital to have my son and had to stay in for a few days. I also work long shifts with early starts but never too early or a problem for I pet sit to collect Murphy at a convenient place for me, as well as offering longer hours so that I can pick him after work, which is a great help and I know Murphy is more than happy with this! I can't recommend I pet sit highly enough to anyone looking for a pet sitting service in the area, as you won't find a more friendly, caring and professional service. Murphy is a part of our family and there's nowhere else I would trust more to leave our dog in the care of. Thank you I pet sit, Murphy can't wait to come for his next play date! :)

I Pet Sit have literally transformed our experience of owning a dog. Not only is it our dog's favourite place in the world – and she comes back happy and tired – but we feel incredibly reassured when leaving her there, she's cared for incredibly well, they really take the time to get to know each dog and their personality, and they take safety extremely seriously. We couldn't recommend I Pet Sit any more highly.
