Ordered 2 items to hire online, was charged extra £111 - received 12 emails during and after hire. I emailed customer services about extra charges and was refunded but no apology or response to my email. Thankfully the staff in the shop were brilliant and sorted out most of the mess their rubbish booking system created. Without these members of staff the business would go down the toilet.

Useless, called to hire a hole borer on Monday and told they could probably get one in for a Thursday but requested to call back following day to confirm what day it would be in. Did this and was told they couldn't get it in for Thursday as not enough time to arrive, Friday would be more like arrival time but someone would call me back. Call back didn't happen and when I called I was told they didn't have any in stock and wouldn't get one for Friday. Again, Useless, as no one seemed to know what was going on and no one talks to anyone else in the branch. I now have to look again for a supplier of this equipment and the job is put back. Don't know if its this branch or HSS in general but won't be using them again.
