After having the same hairdresser for over 8yrs before I moved here, I was a little unsure about having someone new doing my hair. But I can honestly say that I am never disappointed, no matter which lovely stylist has worked her magic. Even when they were working with the restrictions imposed on them by covid, nothing changed, the care and service was still spot on. It's a lovely salon with a very pleasant atmosphere. i booked a hair appointment two months in advance as I was due to have an op and would be house bound for that period . I had the consultation explained every thing that i required agreed on price given and even gave a deposit (apparently clients had not been turning up), which i was happy to do.
I popped in to salon three days before appointment to confirm date, to be told that the agree price had increased by 50% because the computer had given me two discounts . they would only offer me a treatment for the higher price or have a lesser service for the price id originally agreed too ,to compensate the mistake.
There was no apology or even a middle ground found , I will advise all future customers to check the price before treatment and may have written conformation to avoid any embarrassments that could happen on payment. I have been refunded my deposit however i wanted my hair cut as i was looking forward to this after my period of recovery.Friday 3rd December 2021
