Not happy with their diagnosis too generic and when question could not confirm that it was correct. Paid for x rays and then tried to push hard sell for up to 24 visit which would off cost into three figures. I have never had more than 10 to 12 visit at the chiropractic before.

Hi, I attended Halsa Godalming on Tuesday, Wednesday and I cancelled today due to feeling extremely underwhelmed with the treatment and payment scheme. That's the best word for it SCHEME! Patients are seen as cash cows. The treatment is micro managed to maximize profit from gullible patients that are willing to pay.

Sadly I won’t leave a positive feedback. I’m very sorry but I need to be honest. I booked this on Groupon which clearly said 2x treatments (Groupon screenshot below). But they only gave me one treatment. So that was already a red flag No.1. The first visit was a consultation only and the second was a treatment. I have had many treatments done by osteopaths over the last 10 years so I had a good understanding and trust in the treatment. However, David the chiropractor, spent a long time explaining what chiropractic treatment is about, how the body works and all that. I did tell him that I’m familiar with it, but he carried on talking. I was quite bored listening to it all. I went there to improve my posture. I don’t have any problems, but I work out a lot and body maintenance is important to me. So when he suggested an Xray I immediately refused. There was no need to put my body through unnecessary Xray (such radiation is never good for the body but there is time when it’s very useful of course) which I only need if I injure myself or don’t mind paying for it every 2 years at my dentist due to my dental history. So that was a red flag No.2. On the second visit, he spent long time explaining things he has already explained before. The treatment was the quickest I’ve ever had. He clicked my head on one side only. I felt uneven and ask for the other side to be clicked too. He said it’s too much for the body. I’ve never heard such thing. I normally get clicked all over, so everything is unblocked evenly. I’ve been to many different osteopaths and couple of chiropractors, but this was a first. When he tried to click my back, he didn’t put me in the right position where my leg was hanging out of the table. I was laying on the side in the middle of the table which I didn’t realise. When he pushed my leg down, I felt pain in my inner thigh and nothing clicked. Then he pushed it down again and I felt pain again and stopped him. When I looked down, I saw that he was pushing my leg into the table. Red flag No.3. He started to apologise and massage the painful area on my leg. Which made it worse. When you hit your limb against something, you are not going to massage it or press it. It makes it worse. So I stopped him. Not sure whether he thought the pain will go away by rubbing the area. A bruise developed there the next day (photo bellow). Then he told me that I need to make weekly bookings for a few weeks. He just assumed I will book it. At no point he asked me if I want to or how much is the treatment going to cost me. Red flag No.4. I like transparency. And the whole experience felt like it’s a done deal that I will carry on with the treatment. I felt little bit pressure by that to book another appointment. Which I did but then cancelled days later. There is no way I will go back to someone who made a mistake during a treatment. How could such a basic error happen? This profession is a serious one. One mistake and they can disable people. I could never trust him again and relax enough for him to work on my body. I would be stiff and worry what another mistake he is going to make. It could have been one off. Who knows? But the trust was gone. I’ve never ever experienced anything like it with anybody else over the years. Francois David Mutombo is a very sweet guy, but that's not enough.

I was recommended to Halsa by a friend and was so glad that he did so! I had a bad back problem with my lower spine! A very thorough diagnosis and x-rays showed a disc problem! I booked a number of treatment sessions with Alistair who was so helpful and professional, as were the reception staff! After just a couple of chiro treatments my back was feeling much better and enabled me to work and have my usual active lifestyle without pain! First class company, staff and practitioners! Huge recommendation!

I had developed pains in my lower right back and right shoulder for a very long time. I had tried stretches, physiotherapy and acupuncture with no noticeable affect. I got an introduction offer online to have a consultation and X-ray at Halsa Godalming, and I’m so glad I took it up. I’ve just done my first cycle of session, and honestly, from the first alignment, I noticed an instant difference. After only the first few sessions I was no longer waking up in pain at night, and now I can sleep through a whole night on my right side. I am now able to perform at my job fully without struggling with a constant ache and also can work out at the gym without feeling pain all down my right side. Overall, I’m so glad I’ve done this and only wish I’d done it sooner. Dr Keric and the team at Godalming are super professional and informative and always lovely, chatty and welcoming. I highly recommend trying it
