Decent place although they should really open up the rest of the pool during summer as it gets extremely busy. Can attract a lot of kids and teens who seem to think they own the place. We were all told to get out of the pool when someone threw a bunch of signs into the pool after an argument. Staff are completely unengaged and seem wholly disinterested in everything.

Perfect on a hot day like today, 30 degrees. Only 2 toilets for a great many people so that really needs to be improved. Only a little snack caravan so pack a picnic and plenty of water/drinks. Sunbeds get taken quickly and rarely get given up so it's a choice of sitting on the concrete benches or taking a picnic blanket and sitting on the grass area. It's great for an outdoor swim, although the lane pools are full of dead flies. It's absolutely freezing so get ready for cold shock therapy!! The kids paddling pools are great because, depending on their age and height, they don't even need armbands/floats and can easily be supervised in those areas. Not too expensive either and you get to stay a long time. We'll definitely go again.

The pool itself is great, 50m length and nicely restored. Prices have been jumping up over the last few years, previously justified by adding heating. This year (2023) prices have increased 10% to £11 per session and the heating switched off! Parking charges are on top and now apply pretty much all the time including bank holidays. I’d also advise avoiding the final session before changeover, during the session I attended the lanes started to be removed 15 minutes before the session was scheduled to end.

Disappointed with the experience due to poor service. Booked for a Monday 3pm, and after driving one hour, arrived unexpectedly 30 min early. However, instead of being understanding and letting us in, as the lido was practically empty, they made us wait outside and informed us we can only enter 10 min before our booking. Unfortunately even after waiting, the gate would not open, and staff just standing around watching us struggle without offering any help. Eventually after having entered, we were told that half of the pool was closed due to shortage of life guards, the kids pool was also closed. No cafe or ice cream. Every time someone tried to walk across on the other side of the pool, the staff were just there shouting at people and telling them off. Mortified at this level of service, seems no one cares about people anymore or giving them a good experience. Additionally, if half the services are closed, they should not charge us the full price!!

We had a lovely time here on a very hot day. The pool and poolside areas, including changing rooms were very clean. Nice sun loungers for relaxation and a poolside kiosk selling ice cream, milkshakes and other snacks. Would visit again on a hot day.
