My sister reccommended the chain so I decided to try them out. The staff are really friendly and hospitable. They offered drinks (hot or cold) for myself and my mum. I got my hair washed, cut and dyed by a woman named Mel who was fantastic. I told her what I was after and she cut it exactly how I liked. She also dyed my hair and having decided a week later that I wanted the colour to be more noticeable she was happy to change it to how i wanted it free of charge. I particularly like that she shared her opinion and made recommendations in terms of how it should be cut and coloured which was great as I'm quite indecisive and am not always sure of what I want! I can't say for the other stylists but my first experience there was fab!

EXCELLENT!! WOW!! Right from the start of the phone call to book my appointment, I was delighted. Lovely staff and well mannered. I was booked in with Elizabeth... a senior stylist. Popped in a couple of days ahead of my appointment for a colour test, to find friendly, welcoming staff and a family vibe throughout. I've been trying to find a reliable trust worthy hairdressers for the last 7 yrs, having been disappointed several times in the past. I arrived a little dubious, but that quickly changed after being welcomed and treated with respect and warmth. Elizabeth was perfect for me. She was well experienced, very knowledgeable, had a lovely personality and really understood what I wanted to achieve. I was fully pampered and had a wonderful experience. 5☆ across the board! A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE TEAM AT HEADMASTERS STAINES, expecially ELIZABETH! 💕 (Next appointment is in the dairy.)

I have been a regular customer to the salon for years. I thought it was time to write a review. The fab Morgan usually is my go to stylist but due to my work pattern I end up booking in with other Stylists. Today Elizabeth has done a fantastic job on my colour, cut and blow dry. She has been very attentive, listening to my requests. She makes you feel comfortable ( I'm usually nervous when having a different stylist.) Not so long ago I was seriously considering looking for a new salon. Nothing against the stylists but I was finding the atmosphere in the salon not welcoming, it wasn't a happy place to come to.... BUT since Nina has taken over as salon Manager, the place feels a warm and happy place again. Nina is so welcoming and treats you as a friend. The Salon feels vibrant and the staff are clearly happy. Well done Nina 👏

This was the first time I have been to Headmasters and I am definitely going to go back again. I have not had my hair cut professionally in 5 years so arranging for my hair to be styled and coloured was a big step for me. Because of this, I arranged a (free) consultation to discuss what I wanted to achieve and to understand more about the colouring process. I had Shannon as my stylist and she was really helpful and realistic about what I could achieve with my hair type after seeing my 'ideas' photos. Shannon made me feel really comfortable and confident with the decisions and I went ahead with the cut and colour. The whole experience was lovely and everyone I spoke to were all professional and caring throughout. When I got to see the final look I was over the moon because it was exactly what we had discussed and the colour was beautifully applied. Shannon went above and beyond and did some before and after photos and I walked out feeling like a million dollars.

It was my first time going to Headmaster and I had such a good experience. I had my haircut and a blow dry by Elizabeth and she made the experience a lot more relaxing. She offered me a drink as I walked in and was very easy to talk to. I have very curly/wavy hair but she took her time with it, washing it and giving me a head massage and made sure every cut was perfect and it all matched. I have left loving my hair and it looks exactly how I envisioned it. I will definitely be going back and urge everyone to go to this salon. Thank you Elizabeth!

I highly recommend going here! Elizabeth coloured my hair and it came out just how I wanted it, the cut was great too with a great blow dry without the need of any straighteners! Elizabeth has great experience and listened to what I wanted to achieve the look. Overall a relaxing and professional experience with a lovely head massage to top it off.
