Last Thursday marked the very first Hatherop inter-house fencing tournament. As the popularity of fencing continues to grow, Mr Bromley, Mr Bailey and Mr Reed agreed to three tournaments. The format is the same for three year groups where two fencers from each house fence against the other two houses. The Prep 4 fencing tournament… Gardening club was created at Hatherop to teach children about where food comes from and how to plant, nurture and harvest the food we eat. We are fortunate to have a section of the school dedicated to gardening thanks to the donation of several raised beds and greenhouse from our PA. I have two children at Hatherop Castle School and they are both flourishing there. Both our children started their Hatherop journey in the school's Nursery (Little Owls) which really prepared them for starting school. The standard of teaching and pastoral care has been excellent and the beautiful school grounds are the perfect place for a child's imagination to run wild. We couldn't recommend Hatherop highly enough to prospective parents.

Hatherop Castle School never fails to live up to its motto in delivering 'the Adventure of Childhood'. From its Hogwarts-esq building to the beautiful, vast expanse of green space, I could not be happier dropping my Son here every day. This really is a gem of a school which does not disappoint!

Our child has settled straight into life at Hatherop. It’s truly a fantastic learning environment for children. The grounds are stunning, the staff are caring and there’s an array of extra curricular opportunities for children. Highly recommend this wonderful school with great pastoral care.
