We spent a great week here, with one of our party having mobility issues. The accommodation, especially the ground floor room with the disability friendly wet room was as good as we could have asked for. The rooms were always cool, in warm and cool weather. Parking was fine, a bit busy when the rooms were all full. Lots of functions going on in the summer season and weekends, from weddings to proms to wakes. The restaurant is good, and dog friendly with views of the garden and ponds. The food is very good, although the menu is limited for a long stay. Booking is recommended, we booked ahead for busy times and on the day otherwise. You can eat outside too. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The site is huge, it's nice to be able to walk the dog from the front door. It's an interesting short walk to Haselbury Plucknett across the busy A-road.

Beautiful setting for a wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and wonderful to walk around in the sunshine. The food was good. Service was good. Friendly staff. The room was good but the bed was squeaky and the shower door was broken. Apart from that everything was lovely. Thank you 😊

One night stay on a Sunday. Hadn't been before but it is a lovely place. My room was spacious, clean and had a fantastic shower. A friend joined me for dinner and the food was lovely with good sized portions. Breakfast was awesome too. All the staff were friendly and professional. I'd definitely stay here again.

We recently had our wedding at this beautiful venue and couldn't be happier. The staff were amazing and helpful on the day and in the planning stage they were very helpful and communicative! The food was brilliant also and we have enjoyed many a roast dinner there. highly recommend.

Minnie is the best host you can wish for. We stayed 6 nights. Had a 3 days intensive and were very happy with the surroundings. We were surprised that restaurants were closed that early, Minnie kept the kitchen open for us. The steak and salad were great!!! Thank you Minnie and staff, you all made our stay wonderful!!!
