Coronavirus Covid-19

Halmer End Methodist Church resumed worship on Easter Sunday 2021. It is still subject to the latest Government instructions for Covid-19. We are now worshipping regularly again and some group meetings are now taking place under restrictions still in accordance with Government instructions and in line with the Methodist Church guidance for the protection of life because of the Coronavirus pandemic. This situation is under constant review.

Our minister Rev. Joy Ventom is available if you would appreciate a chat, prayer or have any other need. Joy can be contacted on 01782 720267 or email [email protected]. Our pastoral visitors are providing a link with all members of our congregation to ensure that the loneliness and isolation which can be experienced in this 'Lock Down' is eased.

If you or someone you know needs help during self-isolation please call 01782 720392. Help can be provided with shopping, posting letters, obtaining medical supplies, providing food bank vouchers/food packs or even just a friendly chat. This service is run by the churches of St. James Audley, St. Johns Alsagers Bank, Halmer End Methodist and Audley Methodist.

We continue to be the Church and are still at prayer in our homes. Prayer requests are still being received and circulated to all for sharing. If you have a request please use our contact page to let us know. Even though we are able to worship in the Chapel now there is still on-line support from the Methodist Church.

A Monthly Newsletter is published by the Circuit staff and this is included on our web site at the bottom of this HOME page.

Throughout this very difficult time in the life of our nation may you know the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ with you.

Remember Jesus, born as we celebrate Christmas Day, and alive with us today as we celebrated at Easter. His disciples discovered it and millions of people have met Jesus since the day of his resurrection. You can read about some of those people who have met Jesus in a book 'Hope for all' which is available from the church. In the book you can read people's stories of how their lives have changed since they met Jesus. Email David at [email protected] for a copy of the book.
