Fantastic! I realised I was 2 weeks late for my MOT, went online very late last night and was able to book my Volvo in for 9:45am the very next day! (this morning) Very friendly, very helpful, very quick and efficient, and will now be my go-to place for anything I need doing locally in the future. Thank you!

I read the reviews for this garage and felt confident that as it advertises itself as a German car specialist it would be suitable for my 14-year-old mini that had developed an intermittent electrical fault. I booked it in for an MOT and a service and explained the intermittent electrical fault to them. They were very friendly and sounded confident that they could repair the fault, so I felt confident and therefore also booked my husband's Volvo in for a service and MOT. My mini failed it's MOT on a couple of minor items that required attention, I found out afterwards that when they put it through the MOT again, they initially recorded the wrong mileage showing an increase of mileage of about 25,000 even though the car hadn’t left the garage, this was rectified by them but not explained to me and that history now shows on the DVLA database which looks dubious. They serviced the car recommending a bit of work resulting in a sizeable bill. I drove the car away only to have to return it immediately as the intermittent fault kicked in. They hadn't been able to replicate the fault but were confident they could address the issue now they could see it in action. They kept the car for quite a few days before contacting me having replaced a sensor with a BMW sensor rather than the cheaper version they had replaced at the service. I drove the car away only to have the fault reoccur within minutes, we then left the car with them again, this went on for several weeks. We kept ringing for updates, and eventually they told us they couldn’t fix it and they didn't have the ability to run diagnostics, so the car was transferred to another local garage instead. This was such a disappointing and costly experience. My husband had his Volvo serviced here a few weeks after mine and again it was a bad experience. They repaired a tyre at the same cost as a new tyre and they had obviously taken the engine floor cover off and then not secured it back on properly as a few days later it detached at the front where it then scrapped along the road destroying it and we had to buy a replacement. I would not recommend this garage to anyone.

Simon was recommended when I moved to the area from up north. Proper sound chap, I drive quite far to use gydynap garage rather than use a really local one.

Gydynap Garage went the distance (and then some!) to resolve my elderly Volkswagen's electrical issue: where other garages might have simply recommended expensive replacement of components, Simon and his team managed a full repair at a very reasonable rate. 100 per cent recommended!
