My partner and I recently used Guildford Estate Agents to let out our flat using their managed service. James and his team (Maeve, Jack, Izzy and Georgie) were brilliant from the beginning. Highly professional and informative property add, the photos of the property were of a really good quality as well. They have been extremely helpful with all of the questions we’ve asked and have always responded quickly. It was the first time we’ve rented a property and they provided us with all of the help we needed. They kept us informed throughout, let us know in advance of viewings and have always been at the end of the phone. I highly recommend using them if you’re thinking of renting a property in Guildford!

This agent provides no help and support to the tenants and has no shame for it. They make false promises on the contract, never replay to any emails, never support and when you call, they always say they need to check and get back to you but never do. such a scam.

Unfortunately wouldn't recommend. Don't have much experience with them but what I've had wasn't positive at all. Booked a property visit with them for the following day, rang twice to confirm, was all fine. Did not get a confirmation e-mail so left them a message and thought maybe there could have been a typing mistake. Went to the visit as booked and no one came... No phone call to cancel it either. It was a Saturday, website states they're open, rang the office all afternoon and no one answered. Went there, all shut, lights off... Rang on Monday to query was had happened, the person said had phoned me to cancel the viewing (which obviously didn't, there was no phone call at all) then she asked me to confirm my number and when I did she told me a completely different number and insisted I HAD GIVEN HER THAT NUMBER (made me laugh) when in fact she had not even asked me for my telephone number when booking the viewing, just took my email address. I once again booked the viewing for the following day and even thought to myself they would ring cancelling it, as from the beginning everything sounded and felt a bit strange, and how right I was, so they did! Rang in the morning cancelling it and said the tenant had decided to stay in the property... Unfortunately wasn't even the person in question who rang me to cancel it (second time), asked a colleague to do it, which felt even worse. Looked like a wonderful property, which would never have been available for the time it had been advertised for, so I can't say for sure, but looks like a bait to get people calling and collect some data. Can't think of anything else. This was just my experience and I think it's important to share. I just hope it doesn't happen to other people.
