HOW TO FIND US
We meet at Old Station Road, EX32 8PB, near Mcdonalds. There is lots of parking available and our friendly welcome team will greet you at the door and point you in the right direction.
CELEBRATION SUNDAYS
Our Sunday services are ‘CELEBRATIONS’. Celebration is based on Acts 2:42. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (NIV).
It will start with prayer. The Elders would like to invite you to join them from 8:45 to 9:15 am for prayer.
It is just one service but split into two parts:
. 9:30 to 10:00 – Communion (the breaking of bread);
. 10:00 to 10:20 – Coffee break (fellowship);
. 10:20 to 11:30 – Worship, preaching (Apostles teaching) and prayer ministry;
. 11:30 – coffee and tea.
FAMILIES AND CHILDREN
Families and Children are a very important part of Grosvenor Barnstaple. We want them to encounter Jesus, learn more about Him but also have so much fun.
As is our usual practice there will be organised children’s activities on Sundays.
From September 2022, the children’s activities will be from 10.30-11.30am.
BEFORE THE SERVICE
All services in our COVID-safe Main Hall at Old Station Road EX32 8PB.
We are in a changing situation, so please bear with us if we don’t get everything right immediately, or find we need to change things again.
Wearing masks is a matter for each individual to decide.
We will be singing, either with or without a mask.
To help provide for everyone, an area of seating will be reserved at the back for those who wish to wear masks, and the front is for those who do not wish to wear masks.
Please wear a mask when interacting with people in the mask wearing area. Our reasoning is that people singing or speaking without masks are mostly likely to spread germs forwards, so those wearing masks are safer behind the non-mask wearers rather than in front of them.
There are sanitising stations at a number of places around the building, please do make use of them.
LATERAL FLOW TEST
We are seeking to minimise the risk of COVID spreading in our meetings. It is also advised that you take a Lateral Flow test on Saturday, or before you come on Sunday.
If you test positive for Covid 19 at any time during the week before the service please do not come to the Sunday service, even if you have not shown any symptoms of Covid.
LET’S PRAY FOR HEALING
Above all let’s keep praying for healing for those in our church family who have COVID, and for a swift and complete ending to this pandemic across the world.
Psalm 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.
With Love from The Elders.
