John Neddoff5 StarFantastic fish and chips! Staff recognized visiting from the states. Still piping hot even with take away and stopping for petrol on the return. Great mushy peas and gravy too!! Jim Silsby5 StarNever been disappointed with the quality of the food. The batter is always crisp, the fish is always flavoursome and not greasy. Never stingy with the salt and vinegar either. Rick Cairns2 StarIn the past the food has been very good but yesterday (Friday) was probably the worst we've had, not sure if it was a different person doing the frying or what. We ordered 2 lightly battered fish and they were the exact opposite! And the chips were a variety of colours! Some green, some black and looked like they had been warmed up several times, perhaps they were just old potatoes but I don't think we will be going back for some timeSaturday 5th June 2021
