During the time that Golden Home Care assisted us with Home Carers for my Mother, Ingrid was always very professional and available and the Carers were reliable, compassionate and very understanding when my mother became difficult towards the end of her life. Kind Regards Nichola Scott Dear Laura, Thanks for the information given on my recently completed first aid refresher course on Monday 23 September I went to support a young man who is a known substance abuser. When I knocked on the door I got no response. I looked through the letter box and could see his legs so I used my keys and went in and realised he was out, checked for breathing nothing all I could hear was you ringing in my saying what to do next, I straight away started chest compressions with rescue breaths, all the time I was screaming for help, a young guy came and called the ambulance. They took over and I was praised for keeping him alive. Thanks to Laura and the refresher course I didn't panic but had to apply all this technique, I've been doing this job for over 20yrs but this was my first real resuscitation. My mum has domiciliary home care three times per day from Golden Home Care. The care staff are lovely and Mum looks forward to seeing them. They are kind and sensitive to her requirements, attending to her personal care needs throughout the day, encouraging her to eat, and assisting with domiciliary tasks, always with a smile. We have a great relationship with them and I have nothing but praise for the care which Mum receives.
