I asked to see different fabrics in a particularly colour but the person only showed me two and kept taking about the fabrics being expensive - assuming my budget without asking so not showing me all options. When I asked to see others so I can make my own choice, the person huffed at me and again talked about it being expensive. It felt like that scene in Pretty Woman. The situation was extremely judgemental. In the end, I decided not to buy from the store and travelled further away to buy what I needed. I wouldn't normally write these but decided to because of my experience. I think training is required for unconscious bias and also remembering ask people what their budget is - not assuming it.Thursday 12th August 2021

The customer service was excellent - from helping me choose the fabric in the shop, to ensuring the curtains were hung properly. Delivery was prompt, the price competitive and the quality excellent.
