Great place to grab a bite. Tasty selection of savory breads, as well as pastries 🥐 I recommend the focaccia, the parmesan chicken bun, and the cauliflower sandwich. I’m usually not very fond of cauliflower, but the mix of ingredients and the sauce goes together very well. The bread was good as well, but a bit chewy. The sandwich had probably been in the counter for a while. Which it’s fine, but since these sandwiches are more expensive than other options nearby I was expecting top quality. If you go there right after they are made, they probably taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😋 I’ve only had the Chai latte (with soya milk), which tastes good. I wish they had other options of lattes, other than coffee, like a matcha latte, for instance. That’s just because I don’t drink coffee ☕️😅 The seating is alright. Not super cozy, but you get a lot of light from outside from the glass walls, which it’s awesome ☀️ There’s free Wi-Fi as well, which it’s convenient since for some reason my phone doesn’t have coverage when I’m in there (Three network).

Tea for two in a ceramic pot, not a metal café pot. Loose leaf tea filtered rather than bags dropped in. Danish pastries that tasted better than the ones we had in Denmark. All for prices from last decade. I love GAIL's!

I'm so surprised by my experience. I thought Gails was going to be a lovely cafe chain (as advertised) but this place is brand new and it was honestly just a mess. The floors were SO dirty and messy. The toilet was disgraceful - an absolute mess, no soap, toilet rolls everywhere etc etc. Lots of people offering to serve when I went up but no-one actually keeping the BRAND new place clean. It wasn't cheap. I ate a sandwich and had a flat white - both OK but not great and expensive. I left quickly because it felt unhygienic despite just opening and despite everything I expected Gails to be. Won't return.
