Avoid, avoid, avoid. To be honest with you, I have never left a review, negative or positive in my entire life. This is my exception. I went into this cafe for what I thought would be an enjoyable Sunday breakfast. It was one bad event leading to a disaster. I ordered a full English breakfast which came out with no eggs, fine, I said “my breakfast has no eggs, can I have some eggs please”, two “eggs” were swiftly delivered, I put inverted commas around the word “eggs” for one simple reason, they resembled a hockey puck more so than an egg, rock solid with solidified yolk. I was offered a new breakfast so accepted, here comes the bad part… I was offered a complimentary drink so I said “a latte please”, within the meter it took the “waitress” to walk from the counter to my table, she managed to drop the ENTIRE glass of scolding hot coffee on both my lap, hand, the floor and consequently my bag which was an irreplaceable one of a kind from Greece - it is now ruined by the smell of off milk and coffee. We emailed the owner of the “cafe” to tell her the situation. Here comes the REALLY bad part that quite frankly, I am outraged about. We got a passive aggressive response back including the most insulting line I have ever heard. “Your son(me) ACTUALLY pulled the coffee and it wasn’t all our server’s fault”. This is truly appalling - being called a liar is the worst insult I could possibly receive, let alone being BLAMED for the sheer incompetency of a staff member. I think the best policy in life is to be HONEST and accept your mistake, don’t blame others, especially not the “victim!” Before any of you comment, “this is a nice cafe”, I am not saying otherwise - I am merely stating the bad experience I had and the appalling response thereafter. I will leave you to make an informed decision based on all that you have read. Try the place out, I hope you get a better experience than I did.

Amazing amazing amazing! We went for brunch this morning and they were incredibly accommodating! Sat under a heat lamp in their beautiful courtyard garden so it’s was fine to eat outside! The service was unbelievably efficient and friendly – and the food was really delicious, home-made and fresh! Thank you!!

Was propositioned from the street while looking for some lunch on a ride down to Poole. Fantastic food, great service with a lovely garden and space for bikes. Would heartily recommend.

Avoid if you have an allergy. Came here for a birthday lunch, sadly disappointed. Only one drink arrived and took 3 requests for the other drink and the table to be cleaned. Long wait for food and requests re: allergen ignored, despite being asked by both myself and my mother. Meals replaced, however, sour taste left in our mouths due to requests to speak to manager ignored until went to the till to pay and both managers insinuation we had not told the waiter.
