We are very pleased to introduce this small, peaceful park, located on the A595, at Moota near Cockermouth, in the centre of the Lake District National Park.
Forest Views offers spectacular rural views across the open countryside towards Skiddaw. It is an ideal location for visiting the Western Lake District and the Scottish Borders.
The park is open all year round and the static homes are set out in spacious bays surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with car parking beside each caravan. We have a range of static caravans & holiday homes for sale.

Andrew Lloyd5 StarAfter looking round for some time at other parks in the area we have just bought a lodge at Forest Views Caravan Park. The Park is pristine, continually very well maintained and run. The site manager Carl has been extremely helpful all the way through our purchase and been good enough to take delivery of items we purchased online for our new place. It's a quiet site with beautiful views which is exactly what we were looking for. We are looking forward to many happy years in our most favourite place.Saturday 2nd October 2021
Ian Summerscales4 StarI visited in a work capacity only. I was delivering to holidaymakers on the site. From this point of view the site is slightly difficult. Firstly the name people use for the site varies significantly. Secondly the speed bumps on entering are too numerous and over the top. A line of about 8 fierce speed bumps in a 50 metre line. Secondly there is no road traffic turn safe area when approaching from the Cockermouth direction. The manoeuvre thus involves stopping blocking a fast single track carriageway then crossing an unbroken double white line. I fear this is an accident waiting to happen. Best therefore to go past the turning swing around in the next left turn widened road area, cross the traffic and turn right and then enter the site facing back towards Cockermouth via a simple safe left turn. The site looks well appointed from what I saw but I do wish site owners would think of a logical and highly visible ( including in the dark) method of numbering their accommodation units. There are far worse ones in this aspect than Forest View but it is not very good in this respect either.Sunday 12th September 2021
Nicky Lovett5 StarWhat an awesome park friendly and welcoming we have recently purchased a static on the site the manager went above and beyond to get it in situ before Christmas would recommend to anyone that would like a quiet site and they are in the process of building a new site close by that will give views of the solway firthWednesday 5th January 2022
