top quality work and great communication throughout. I have had my kitchen replaced, back and front gardens landscaped as well a quality composite door from these guys. Clive's workers are punctual, friendly, polite and clean up after themselves and I was kept fully informed from point of sale until completion of all work undertaken. I have recommended to friends and they have had similar positive experiences! 5 stars ! Completely different experience from Sarah Goodman and Adam Howard below, although their experience seems to be due to the incompetence of the governments green home grant scheme - they clearly didn't have work done, I have had 3 projects completed to excellent standards. It seems extremely unfair to give a construction and home improvements company 1 star when they have never undertaken work for them, some people eh!

If I could give no star, I would. Their complete lack of customer service beggars belief. I had arranged and got approval for a green homes grant and when emailing them with the voucher over two months ago in May they proceeded to do...well absolutely nothing despite numerous calls and emails. Amy (the owner's daughter) never bothered to return my calls or emails. I then took the decision to approach another company who were much more professional, and have now had to send off for a revised application. Today I receive a call from Amy,trying to make what amounted to a series of excuses as to why she hadn't bothered to return my emails or phone calls for well over a month!! My advise is avoid this company at all costs.

This is a complete shambles of a company. It has been impossible to make any progress towards having our door replaced under the green homes grant scheme. We were approved for our voucher on 23rd June 2021 which was sent to Forest Homes straight away. Despite numerous emails and phone calls between 23rd June and now (7th September), we have made zero progress. They do not reply to emails (I have a several asking for updates which are completely unanswered) and fob you off with excuses on the phone / by text. I was initially told at the start of July (when I was able to speak to Amy via phone) that they are waiting for more vouchers to be approved before completing surveys and to wait for an update in the coming weeks. I waited, and waited and waited but heard nothing. I called again on numerous occasions and was either told they would get back to me (rarely happened) or they were planning surveys next week and would contact me with a date (never happened). On the 19th August, Amy replied to one of my iMessage saying they had issues with the software they needed to use when completing the survey and installation. I cannot comment on whether this is true or another lie, but another 3 weeks have now passed with no updates or communication. My last communication was 6 days ago via iMessage which Amy ‘read’ but, again, did not reply. I just don’t understand how someone can run a company without giving at least a basic level of customer service without needing to be called or messaged. I honestly don’t think they have any intention of installing our door and are trying to just pass time until the voucher expires. It’s a shame to think our voucher will soon expire and be wasted solely due to an incredibly disorganised company. Had I have known this in advance I would have chosen a different installer. If they don't complete our work to a satisfactory standard before the voucher expires, they owe me £1000 (the value of the voucher). There is no excuse on earth why someone would need over 4 months to install a door. EDIT: I have just received a call from Amy advising that they have pulled out of the Green Homes Grant scheme due to issues and lack of support from GHG. This is very disappointing as there physically isn't enough time for me to find another installer and switch everything over before the voucher expiry. In regards to the issues, I wont comment on whether I think they are true. All I will say is that I have had other measures with other companies sucessfully installed under the scheme with no apparent issues. It took two months of almost no communication (only what I initiated) to first hear of these problems. What a waste of time and wasted opportunity. Proper communication with your customers could have avoided this 1* review. A quick phone call or mass email to everyone in the same situation, easy.
