A bit of a shame that this lovely cafe has gone down hill, visited to be greeted with quite rude staff, ordered a cup of tea for nearly £3 to be served in a paper cup and then when asked to use the loo was told rudely that they don’t have one even for paying customers to use! The shop is still beautiful and I would definitely return to browse but cafe and staff members attitude needs a rethink! Their is also a large bold letter on the door which tells customers that no under 18’s are allowed in without an adult due to theft which I kind of understand but you can’t discriminate against all under 18’s!!

They have great stock here, the savoury things in the counter are great and the rest of the shop and gift shop is fab. The cakes are slightly underwhelming for the price. Would have been a higher score but everytime I visit I find the staff slightly rude and snooty. They do not make you feel welcomed, and reading your previous reviews it seems I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Focus has a great range of eco friendly products and gifts. The deli section is extensive and you can find some really interesting stuff there. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff. They often seem... uninterested? I've never felt particularly welcome in Focus, the members of staff always seem somewhat surly and depressed. I'll keep using the shop as the stock is so good. But I wish the employees would cheer up a bit.

What a shame such lovely cakes and great coffee is just served in takeaway cups and cardboard boxes even though we were eating in. Very disappointed especially as Focus used to be such a great place to get a fantastic salad and deli foods. Very disappointing.
