The intertwining of Portugal and India began in 1505. The Portuguese influence spread across various parts of India over four centuries, effectively known as ‘Estado da India’, or ‘The State of India’.
These two cultures, each with their own respective customs and traditions (the Portuguese with their fiery thirst for life, and Indians with their relentless spirituality), resulted in a new fiery, high-spirited people, the Luso-Indians. With their rich culture, stunning artwork, and bold recipes.

The food is delicious and tapas style you get to try out more of the choices on offer and experience even more enticing flavours. The cocktails are gorgeous and ours were served by the lovely Jamill. My one issue is that most of the meat dishes are all prepped in a super spicy marinade and there is nothing to dilute the heat down with. Normally not an issue for me but I felt that not even having the option is a bit silly. Great place, nice staff, lovely decor but very spicy 🌶 so great if you can take super heat!Saturday 19th March 2022

Justin Hardman3 StarSo it as definitely a fusion of food.. we thought the flavour was amazing but the amount of pesto was too much.. personal preference obviously. Lemon rice and the lamb curry was amazing and we want the recipe. Ambience was average as not quite sure the waitresses were of restaurant standard. We will be back..Wednesday 18th May 2022

All 4 mains were amazing, really good service and we were shown to a relaxing booth in the restaurant. Fabulous spicy mix of Portuguese and Indian food, a lovely night to remember.Tuesday 28th June 2022
