Brought a Jaguar x series from Chris, it was a solid car for a reasonable price. Chris was very friendly, helpful and wasn't pushy at all during the sale process. After the sale he took time to help sort out tax on the car and made himself contactable if needed. Would buy another car from him.

I bought BMW Series 5 from Chris Cloughton. He was very nice during the sale process and got the AC fixed as well. It was my first car so I was very happy with everything however post sale service was very poor. 1) Did not give V5C/2 (New Keeper Details form) when i bought the car. Which means I had no proof of purchase and couldnt pay Road Tax. 2) Didnt send Car Registration papers to DVLA. First he sent it late, then there was a mix up, and then finally he sent it. I got the document after 80 days. I was the one chasing and he didnt call me once to inform me of issues. 3) Chris barely attends to phone. Poor Communication. I partially blame myself for not properly educating myself about the car purchase process, as that would helped me with the first issue.

I bought a 2009 Ford Mondeo Titanium X 2.2 tdci, from Chris at Essex Car Center, very clean car at a very fair price! Full service history and warrenty provided, Chris was great to deal with and totally transparente, wouldn't hesitate to use him in future and would highly reccomended! Overall couldn't be happier! 10/10

I bought an x type jag estate from Chris, this developed a fault after a few weeks , Chris provided me with a loan vehicle whilst the Jaguar was getting repaired.10/10 for Essex car centre
