At Eat 17, we’re proud to be ‘not your average store’. We’re dedicated to doing things the right way; thinking local, prioritising people before profit, taking great pride in our work and, most of all, putting proper food on your plate.

It all began in 2006 when we opened a neighbourhood grocery and bistro in Walthamstow. Since then we have created our award winning Bacon Jam, opened fabulous stores in Hackney,  Bishop’s Stortford and Hammersmith, not to mention our own range of delicious ready meals.

Great concept, variety of different cuisines to choose from similar to a food hall concept but inside so great for British weather. There is so much on offer here so I will have to return, I decided to try the Souvlaki which was very flavourful but I honestly had a hard time choosing. In addition to the food stalls there is also a fish bar and supermarket area which also looked great.

Love the refill stations for wash liquid, coffee beans, pulses etc. Great produce, inc fab bread. And the smashed avocado I had for lunch and pizza my husband had, were delicious. My new favourite place in Stortford

Great place for interesting food, drinks and luxury snacks. My only criticism is how they leave open food by high traffic areas - example: cannolli, croissants and various other snacks on display openly without packaging or any form of cover up by the til point with people breathing respiratory droplets all over them. Really in this day and age they should re-think things like this.

Street Food is nice. Artesan grocery is quite expensive, but excellent quality. Especially the Sour Dough bread!
