Gemma came to my house and did a double oven clean. She is very professional and did an amazing job on my appliances- they looked brand new again. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and thorough to clean their ovens. Thank you Gemma.

Gemma has done a regular clean for us for many months now. They are very reliable which is so important. The cleans are thorough and having 2 people means they are in and out in less time which is great when we’re all at home so much more currently.

I trust Gemma, which was the most important thing for me. On her initial visit she gave me a fair quote and since then I am really happy with her and her team. I am really happy with my regular clean and now doing that thorough clean is something I don’t have to worry about, freeing up more of my time!

Really disappointing experience with Dusting Dollies. My partner works away and we have a little boy so so we decided we would like a cleaner to support with the chores and to give us more family time at weekends. We were quoted £35 a clean every two weeks, with the option of having a slightly bigger £50 clean the first time. We decided to go ahead with the £35 a bi-weekly clean, opting to leave the bigger clean as our house is relatively clean and tidy anyway and we felt in two hours, two cleaners should be able to cover most of the house, as we would be able to do this ourselves. Dusting Dollies advised they might not be able to do all the blinds everytime but could do upstairs one clean and downstairs next time. Which we were happy with. After some initial confusion over dates and days (being told the clean would be on Thursday 16th when Thursday was the 13th) it was confirmed the first clean would be on Thursday 13th between 12pm and 2pm. We were away for the week, but my mother popped round at just before 1pm to feed the cats and Dusting Dollies had been and gone. Which left us wondering if we actually got a full two hours, as the standard of the cleaning suggests not. We recieved a message from Dusting Dollies before we got back advising that they had only managed to get on top of the bathroom, kitchen and floors. We were a bit shocked at this but decided to reserve judgement until we got home. On arriving home it was clear that none of the floors had been hoovered as there were still bits on the carpet and the bathroom, kitchen and utility floors had not been properly mopped either, as there were still marks on floor. In the kitchen on intial inspection it appeared the hob had been cleaned and was shiny but when we had a more thorough look the hob parts and rack clearly had not been removed and they had just been cleaned around. As such I had to clean the hob again myself. The draining board had been cleaned but the sink remained dirty. The kitchen cupboard fronts had been wiped down, however the shelves with the cook books hadnt been wiped, nor had the fridge/freezer fronts and handles as there still remained marks on these. The bin had not been emptied. The bathroom was cleaner than when we left. However the tiles still had shampoo marks on. When I wiped the floor around the edge with a wipe it was clear this hadnt been properly cleaned. Dusting Dollies left all our bathroom equipment/items in a pile in the corner and didnt put anything back. Our towels were left on the landing floor. No cleaning had taken place in the utility room, lounge, dining room, hallway, landing or our 3 bedrooms, none of the blinds in the house were cleaned. In summary in two hours two cleaners from Dusting Dollies managed to wipe down 11 cupboard fronts in the kitchen and 3 drawers, polish the hob (leaving dirt under any of the removable parts) and the draining board and do a half baked job at cleaning the bathroom, leaving the putting everything back for us and our towels on a unhoovered landing floor. Finally Dusting Dollies left a number of our lights on, in a time of rising energy bills and climate change I urge Dusting Dollies to consider the impact of this on their customers finances and the environment. When we raised this with Dusting Dollies they informed us this was because we should have had an intial deep clean for £150. Which we thought was not required and an outrageous suggesion and money making tactic. Plus this was never raised at the inital quote. As such we would not recommend Dusting Dollies cleaning services.
