Great pub, “accidentally” found it and, one of the best founds we have had. Amazing selection of cocktails, beers and very good food! Looking forward to taking friends with next time!

Great Sunday lunch and friendly attentive service. Separate restaurant & bar areas, unlike many these days the bar area still feels like a proper pub too. Nice riverside garden in the summer.

We went for Sunday roast and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the service was not what I would call attentive. We came with a small boy and a baby and the waiter never once thought that we might need a children's menu or a highchair for example (we had to ask for both ourselves after discovering by chance that these things exist). Then they also forgot to ask us for our food order and we had to remind them we haven't ordered yet after waiting for quite a while. And finally, our Sunday roast didn't have a Yorkshire pudding although one was promised on the menu (we sadly only realised when we've finished eating so it was to late to ask for one).

Shared lovely fish platter small size plenty for two with lovely fresh bread and a side salad, more than enough for 2. Sat in v pleasant garden.

The seafood platter is one of the best around. Add great ale and wonderful location by a stream makes a consistently enjoyable visit.
