Doves Barn Nursery

Doves Barn Nursery is proud to have been a family run business since 1973. It was established by Val and Clive Fowler, and moved to its present site in 1988. They have since been joined in business by a great team of knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to help customers and give advice.

Doves Barn has been expanding year after year, and now we strive to offer you everything you need to make your garden complete!

Our bedding plants and shrubs are predominantly grown ourselves within the Nursery and we specialise in vast ranges of baby plug plants for you to grow your own at home. As well as shrubs, we have a large assortment of trees, herbaceous plants and hedging.

There is a huge range of pots of all descriptions and new stock arrives weekly so you should be able to find exactly what your looking for.
Peat, compost and bark is also available at the nursery, as well as sand, grits and various ornamental stones. Bulk bags of these products can be delivered directly to your home.

Our gift shop was opened in 2012, and is packed to bursting with unique gift ideas and keepsakes for all ages. Including gift cards, wedding gift selections, new baby treats and children's toys.

We have always enjoyed Christmas time at Doves Barn! Its a big time for us! People come from far and wide to purchase our Christmas trees and the word is fast spreading about our gigantic festive wonderland section. The biggest display of Christmas decorations, gifts, and ornaments for miles around.
To finish off your trip to Doves Barn, you can now drop into 'Alfresco', a new coffee shop on site.
There you can enjoy a nice warm drink, cakes and even hot food. Alfresco also specialises in barbecues and sell a large range.
