DogBasics offers 1-2-1 lessons, Basic and Intermediate Obedience lessons. The group lessons include off lead socialising. All our training covers dog language and by giving you the tools you can use to successfully train your dog (praise, treats, toys, body language, games, etc). Over summer there will be evening classes for puppies and every other Sunday there will be Basic obedience lessons for big boisterous dogs. Having a dog can throw up all sorts of problems and hopefully you'll find some help amongst the DogBasics Article archive. The articles cover things like puppy nipping, noise phobias, food aggression, the relationship between food and behaviour, dog language, problem solving exercises to entertain your dog and basic training exercises. .

Brilliant. I take both my dogs dog training with Caroline. She's really good with the dogs, and knows a lote about dog behaviour. Both of my dogs go to training lessons there, in different groups. It's in a lovely contained field, which is great for the dogs to socialise and run free, as they have free time to play. This is such a great idea as socialising is such a big part of dog training. I've been to a lot of training places, over many years, and this is the best one I've been to. Caroline also does, doggy Day care, where my dogs are very happy to go to. I'm very happy to leave them with her and trust her completely. Thank you Caroline.

We have been taking Barney to dog basics since he was 12 weeks old and he is now 9 months old. Caroline is patient with both dog and owner. Barney loves his training and boarding. We trust Caroline to look after Barney and know he will enjoy his time with her.

Fantastic dog day care service provided! I highly recommend it - I only wish Caroline lived closer to York so that Blue could visit her more often!! ... He had so much fun and the pictures she sent me afterwards, proved it. Thank you so much, it was so much better than placing him in kennel care for the day :-)

Caroline looked after the boys (Eric & Ernie) when we went on holiday, we wouldn't have trusted anyone else. We went away with knowledge that they would be looked after properly and be given plenty of walks and lots of love and cuddles.
