Well what can I say I use to liked this kebab house BUT think they have got far to Big for there boots and forgot about the portion size. I ordered the dilans special and that use to feed me and my wife with plenty of left overs. But there was hardly enough to feed one person. With the dilans special you use to get 2 pitta breads the price has gone up and now you only get one. This might sound like I'm being greedy but when I have a kebab and pay good money for one I would at least hope it would fill us up. Also the quality of the food has gone down. Its a real shame as really liked coming to this one and thought it was the best one in Colchester. Not any more! Last time for my family

I have never experienced ruder staff then i did from the girl that took my order at the till. I order a chicken kebab, got home and had lamb donner. I went back and complained, pior to ringing and informing them to be told to come back and it would be sorted. My friend then drove back, expecting a new kebab and or refund which where told we would get once we came back in. The girl at the till was rude, short tempered, sarcastic and told me that i had to go back home and bring the kebab back, after throwing it in the bin because i wasn’t going to eat lamb when i ordered chicken. They made me ring my brother for him to search through the bins to take a picture of the wrap to send to me which he did, for them to then turn around and want him to go further through the bins to search for lamb meat. I walked out, as who’s brother is going to go searching through the bins for a kebab. I think one star is generous and have never experienced being spoken too in that manner by the girl who took my order, and gave me the wrong change. could not recommend you go somewhere else stronger.

Been using this kebab shop for 20 years now & the food is great & prices ok. Would recommend ordering in the shop or by phone for collection .

Popped in here for a kebab that was really nice !!! dropped my wallet inside the shop went in next day to see if i left it there and they had it behind the desk nice , honest people good food many thanks 👍🏻

Dilans is amazing best kebab in Colchester by far , customer service is spot on as always and they never miss by making the best food
