Had a spa day here with a friend for her birthday. Great facility, indoor warm pools, adults only outside pool with therapy jets, steam rooms, large sauna, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, relation areas, hot beds, etc. Helpful staff. I had a great treatment, and a very nice lunch too

David Lloyd falsely advertises it's 14 day pass membership by showing a child jumping into an outdoor pool. You would therefore assume that you would have access to the pool. I tried to cancel my membership after 4 hours of booking it and they refused to give my money back. They are only interested in getting your money. I would expect better customer service from what I thought was a reputable gym!

I had one of the most stressful day in my life in here! I’d never recommend this club to anyone. All facilities are nice but mostly not clean! Staff attitude is definitely a deal breaker. I wouldn’t pay £179 per month for people being rude to me! Sorry but would not use David Lloyd again!

The facilities themselves were divine, but a few of the staff were incompetent & wanted to let us know that we weren't welcome there. When we first arrived the main receptionist tried to imply that we were sneaking in, even though we had all our passes & are business owners who pay very generously to enjoy the luxury of their establishment. She was very passive aggressive & sarcastic to a point where we were very confused at what the issue was. After entry, she immediately left the desk to go & alert a member of staff where she told them to keep an eye on us throughout the duration of our time at the establishment. So we were basically monitored by this appointed staff member the whole time we were there. Towards the end of the spa day we decided to get a bite to eat, we ordered at 7.30pm, the kitchen closes at 8pm. The order went through fine, but minutes before 8pm we got a call to say our order had been cancelled. When asked "why?" the phone was hung up on us by a specific member of staff. After we got ready & asked to speak to a manager, the manager came over & insisted that the staff member told her they had been subject to verbal abuse, which was something they completely lied about to explain why they hung up the phone. Meanwhile the staff member in question hid in the back, knowing full well it was a lie. The manager gave us a refund & we left, hopefully never EVER to return.
