The Workshop is my place where the true work is carried out to a very high specification. I offer high-end servicing by using the right tooling and equipment to hand.
I am qualified to Level 2 EAL cycling standards qualification, wheel building technician (advanced)
My years of experience, proven workmanship and excellent customer service have helped me become a local favourite for the bepoke builds and wheel building fans and the keen cyclist wanting a pair of premium hand-built bespoke built wheels. With the knowhow to keep the latest groupsets running smooth too wether it be Sram AXS, Campagnolo EPS or Shimano Di2 we are the place to have your bikes thoroughly serviced each year.
Please call in advance to book your bike in for a service. I can carry out smaller jobs aswell, maybe you just need a gear tune or need a new component fitted, I can charge at an hourly rate.

Richardas M2 StarI had 2 experiences with Rob one with road bike front derailleur adjustment was brilliant.
Second, newly purchased used mtb bike service and brakes replacement left a bitter taste in my mouth.
When I bought bike checked how he is shifting gears, shimano deroe no issues. After Robs inspection I was in need to buy new rear wheel (faulty hub won't be able to shift smoothly) new cassette, he replaced the chain, and put in a new tube. Got charged as he did gold service on it 😲. Thought expensive but I got new serviced MTB. First ride gears jumping, shifting horrible all the money i paid.. Guess he never did a test ride. Brought back he said it must be cos of the dirt and riding through wet. Said if he replaced rear gear shifter would be final job. He will do it free of charge I just need to buy it. After all the money I paid another 20£ won't hurt. I left bike he replaced was better till I took it to sherwood pines for my second ride. I started looking at what he done, couldn't be asked with him anymore, noticed chain was SRAM read on guidance it could be used, but shimano recommends only Shimano. Bought the chain check youtube how to measure correct length. Mine measured chain was 2 links shorter than bike mechanics Sram. Replaced, hurray it's shifting with no problems
If the correct length chain was installed first time guess I saved money.
Rob is a very nice person, but to me it looks like he lost his skill to deliver what he was getting paid forFriday 25th August 2023
