Our Story
Established in 1963, Cowling & Co The Window Doctor, are a local, family-run business based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. We repair and replace windows and doors in homes throughout the region including Oxford.
We specialise in working with uPVC and aluminium and we stock a wide range of products to meet all your requirements. As a family business, being second generation family run, we pride ourselves on our reputation and honest service. Our friendly team wear uniforms and our well stocked van proudly displays our logo.
We cover all of High Wycombe, surrounding areas, The Chalfonts-as far as Gerrards Cross. Aylesbury, Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford.
Please note that we don’t charge a call out fee and all initial inspections are carried out free of charge.

Nola Baldwin5 StarAfter a horrible experience with #brightwindows who went bust before they finished the installation of my new windows, and several calls to over 15 different window related companies, Cowling & Co were more than happy to help me rectify & finish off the bodged job fitting.
After initially leaving a voice message they we’re quick to respond and confirm an appointment to quote for this tricky job of correcting an absolute mess.
The communication with Clare from the office has been exceptional always getting back to me within 24 hours (usually 2 hours) and there was no issue booking an appointment.
Adam turned up on time and finished the job quicker than expected making sure no mess was left behinf and the windows now look how they’re supposed to. He also happily obliged when I asked for pictures before payment as I was unable to stay home on the day.
I’m extremely happy with the finished result and would highly recommend using this company as I not only found them to be very reasonable with their pricing but the experience has been very professional too.
