Cornmill is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care for 52 residents and has achieved the highest quality rating, being classified as "Outstanding".

Historic Building & Amazing Views

The building is a most attractive, historic stone Cornmill which has been tastefully converted and refurbished throughout. Features have been retained from when it was used as a working cornmill. Many rooms have the benefit of spectacular views overlooking the River Wyre and a number of sitting rooms and lounges can be used for reading, conversation and for residents to enjoy afternoon tea with their friends and visitors.

Individuality of care and maintenance of dignity for each resident entrusted to us is paramount. Cornmill is managed with the intention that each resident achieves their best social, physical, and emotional health whilst in our care.

At Cornmill you can choose the care that most suits your needs. Long term care, a short stay to enable family carers to take a break and post-operative care for those recovering from an accident, illness or operation.
