Michael Firth5 StarI love coffee house! As soon as it opened it knocked a former favourite from its top spot.
The coffee is perfect to my taste (not horrendously strong, and very smooth) and the food choices for vegans/vegetarians are particularly good, as is the vegan chocolate cake which I honestly can’t even tell is vegan - a tall order for someone who eats lots of non-vegan cake.
The atmosphere is relaxed, but bustling enough that you can blend in. We’ve eaten here in groups before, but equally I’ve eaten alone and felt perfectly at ease.
