Due to current restrictions you still have to queue up outside. Visited the previous week, seen the queue and wandered on but could get in easy this time. Staff were very patient whilst helping my son decide school shoes and managed to keep a smile. So a happy experience all around.

Took my son for shoe fitting ,the member of staff explained why my mother could not come in the shop with myself and son due to restrictions on numbers inside the due to covid-19 .she explained this would make the queue move faster,Which it did while my mother had a cup of tea in costa next door .☕

Generally pleasant staff and Clarks return policy remains exemplary. However recently when I returned a school shoe when became unstitched after only 3 months of use the store manager was abrupt, terse and generally unfriendly. While she did not hesitate exchange for a replacement I sensed her impatience and like she was irritated just having to serve me. Although the junior staff were friendly the overall experience was cold and impersonal.

The lovely staff could not do enough for me to find the perfect fit. If they don't have your size it's absolutely no trouble to order it in. Thank you once again.

Picked up a pair of shoes. I knew what I wanted paid for it and then left. The Assistant didnt acknowledge me as I entered the shop. I was the only shopper in there. As a local retailer there sales item is a little expensive and they need to reduce their prices in order to bring customers in.
