Why stay here ...

One of our many Somerset caravan sites, Cheddar Club Campsite is situated on the very edge of Cheddar Village and boasts magnificent views of the Mendips and surrounding countryside - an absolute walker's paradise.  Amenities in the village include a variety of shops, pubs and takeaways. Cheddar Caves and Gorge and the famous Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company are all within easy walking distance of the caravan site. With Wookey Hole Caves and Mill and England's smallest city of Wells just a short drive away, you are sure to have plenty to see and do during your stay.

For the active and sporting visitor, the Cheddar Club Campsite offers access to loads of fun activities in the area - karting, pony-trekking, golf, off-road driving and a great cycle path are all available just a few minutes away. For fishing and water sport enthusiasts there is Cheddar Reservoir a short distance from the caravan park, with a host of different activities throughout the year. If you would rather just relax on a nice beach, Burnham and Weston-super-Mare are both within a half hour's drive, offering all the shopping conveniences you could wish for. Visit the site in November and you will also be able to enjoy the colourful atmosphere and bright lights of the Burnham-on-Sea Carnival.

We will also be adding new serviced pitches and working on the infrastructure of the campsite during part of winter 2022/23. Although the campsite will remain open throughout the works, some pitch access may be restricted at certain times.

We're only here for a short stay but it's a lovely site. Clean and tidy with spotless facilities. It's got a very quiet and secluded feel with high hedges and trees surrounding it. Good amenities within walking distance and very pretty area. Would definitely return for a longer stay.

Didn't stay but visited relatives who were staying on site. Clean tidy site. Plenty of space between vans. Little shop selling essentials. No playpark for kids. Overall good base.

Not for me. Had good expectations about this site enroute, shame they didn't last long. Full of loud drunks in the evening (until we'll after midnight) who just don't give a dam about anybody else except themselves!!! All this is within ear shot of the Wardens, but nothing was done about. So I'm afraid if you like a site where anything goes then it's definitely for you. 😩😩

Perfect location to visit Cheddar village, gorge and caves. Typical CAMC site with all the facilities. Best shower pressure in a CAMC site ever 😁👍 Short walk into village and a 15 minute walk to gorge/caves. Access is good from Junction 22 of the M5 (don't go junction 21).

Lovely site, a few minutes walk into town, the site is kept immaculate and the staff very helpful and friendly One of the best The bath arms is the nearest pub, little expensive but food first class and sat outside was a pleasure in the sun Just outside the site is a food van Tuesday to Saturday, we were being lazy and had bacon rolls most days as so convenient 5stars overall
