Chapel Park Community Centre offers a variety of services to support people in the local community, including funded educational and wellbeing courses.

We are a not for profit registered charity, run for the benefit of the local community, based right in the heart of St Leonards - beneath the Baptist Church on Chapel Park Road.

We have an IT cafe, offering free access to the internet, printers and photocopier, as well as a large main hall, meeting rooms and a fully fitted kitchen to hire. Click link here to see pictures and details.

Cases of Covid are currently very high in the area, so if you're planning on paying us a visit please read our attached Visitors Policy beforehand , as this includes our current safety measures to help keep our community safe.

Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC) provide specialist Welfare Benefits Advice to all. If you need any help with Universal Credit and/or Online Benefits to find places offering in-person drop-in times and appointments.

We have linked in with Diversity Resource International, who are working with Care for the Carers (East Sussex), to set up a peer support group at the Centre for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic carers, who face additional barriers when accessing support.

Following the completion of our Cooking on a Budget course, here is a photo of one of the meals our students learnt to cook and prepare. We are looking to host a second course in September, Information to be confirmed.

We have recently decorated our outside space to offer time to sit and reflect and enjoy our new planting.

We have also made some changes to our IT cafe to make it more comfortable, offering free access to the internet, printers and photocopier.

Our updated Cafe is now open, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks to enjoy, at affordable prices.

In addition to our funded courses, we are planning to run some events and workshops to help bring the community together after these difficult times.

Helpful friendly people.Well supported and active.internet cafe. Exercise and education classes. Christians against poverty. Snoflake centre during the coldest winter months. Fantastic kitchen. There is now a new heating system . Currently only open Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
